Recorded live at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, USA, on November 1, 1981.
Filmed by US television, this excerpt from the show was never broadcast.
The Stones only allowed TV networks to film the first three songs of each show, always positioning the cameraman next to the stage, on the left-hand side.
Unfortunately, only “Under My Thumb” is complete. There are only a few fragments of “When the Whip Comes Down,” and the final part of “Let’s Spend the Night Together” is missing. Nevertheless, I present all three songs here in full, using footage from the show.
The video was taken from the DVD “Eighty One Eighty Two, Vol. 1,” released by D-Stone, and is mixed with audio from the CD “Executive Action,” released by DOG n CAT RECORDS.
The photos are from the show and were found online. Credits to their respective owners.
