Recorded live at Anaheim Stadium, Anaheim, USA, on July 24, 1978. The Stones played two shows in that city, the other being on July 23.
The set list was the same for both shows.
This video is taken from a DVD titled Anaheim 1978 and mixed with audio from the CD The Shoes Concert 1978, recorded by glimmerman.
Both sources are the best available, and color and audio corrections were made. The photo that appears was taken by Bob Gruen.
The show featured the peculiarity of the audience throwing their shoes and sneakers on stage, and Mick acknowledges this at the end of Shattered, saying, “I’ve got about 80,000 shoes up here, that’s enough.”
This show featured two guest musicians: Nicky Hopkins on piano and Bobby Keys on saxophone on “Miss You” and “Brown Sugar.”
