Recorded in Hollywood with the Andrew Oldham Orchestra, a group of studio musicians (including some of the Stones), “The Last Time” was the first Mick Jagger-Keith Richards original issued as an A side in the UK, and their third #1 hit. It has a definite “Wall of Sound” vibe because Phil Spector assisted in the sessions.
