Today, July 26, 2025, Mick Jagger—the legendary frontman of the greatest rock band of all time, The Rolling Stones—celebrates his 82nd birthday. The band has been rocking the world since 1962, and I’ve been a devoted fan since the 1980s. I grew up with their music, and to honor both the band and Jagger on this special day, I’m performing a cover of “Honky Tonk Women,” one of their iconic singles released in 1969.
I play my guitar over a backing track that removes the original guitar part—giving me room to bring my own tone to this timeless classic. Here’s to Mick, the music, and a legacy that still rolls strong.
